The popular actor once again working with producer Sajid Nadiadwala and director Sabbir Khan in their upcoming film tentatively titled Baaghi.
BiographyTiger was born to Jackie and Ayesha. He chose his stage name to be 'Tiger', whereas his real name is Jai Hemant. He is a student of martial arts and has been practicing it from the age of four. He never had a keen interest in becoming an actor instead always wanted to become a football player but later he was not able to see a better future in Indian football and decided to focus on his acting career. He has completed his educational qualifications from American School of Bombay. He has only one sibling, a sister Krishna Shroff three years younger. His maternal grandfather was Air Vice-Marshal Ranjan Dutt and paternal grandparents were Kakubhai Shroff an astrologer and Rita Shroff an ethnic Turk. He is more close to his father than mother or sister.
In Sajid Nadiadwala's BaaghiActor Tiger Shroff will be next seen in producer Sajid Nadiadwala's Baaghi after collaborating with him on his debut film Heropanti. Baaghi, produced by Nadiadwala and UTV Motion Pictures, will be directed by Sabbir Khan, who also helmed Heropanti. The movie was initially named as Heer and Ranjha but later on renamed to Baaghi. The movie is very much inspired by the original Baaghi movie featuring Salman Khan and Nagma. Now Tiger Shroff will be playing the role of Baaghi (rebel) in the movie.

5th degree black beltAfter an action-packed debut, Tiger was bestowed with the honour by Kukkiwon-World Taekwondo Headquarters (part of the South Korean Government). Tiger has received the honorary 5th degree black belt at Mumbai on July 30. The reason is that Kukkiwon believed that Tiger is a youth icon who can inspire children and women to take up martial arts for self defense. Tiger is excited about the honor, and accepted it, though he feels he is very young for the privilege and has a lot to learn. For him martial arts is his passion and a way of life.
HeropantiThe film proved to be a great opportunity for Tiger Shroff, who was waiting from a long time to make his Bollywood debut. He was seen portraying a rough and tough character like his father Jackie Shroff played in the movie 'Hero'. Heropanti depicts the story of Bablu and Dimpy's love.
