Pulkit Samrat is a model turned actor who now appears in bollywood. He made his debut in Bollywood with the movie Bittoo Boss opposite Amita Pathak. He came into limelight for his role of Lakshya Virani in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. The character made him to won the Best fresh new face award at The Indian Telly Awards and Favourite Naya Sadasya (Favourite Newcomer) at Star Parivaar Awards(SPA). He is also a magician who is into street magic and illusions. He was also a model who had signed up with Elite Model Management but wanted to always become an actor. He will now be seen in the Salman Khan starrer 'Jai Ho'. The actor will feature in a cameo role in the film.
Pulkit Samrat BiographyPulkit Samrat was born on December 29, 1983 to Sunil Samrat and Deepa Samrat in Shalimar Bagh, Delhi. He was brought up in a large Punjabi joint family. His family has its real estate business. He also has a brother named Ullas Samrat. He studied at Manav Sthali School, New Rajendra Nagar till class X and completed his schooling from Montfort Senior Secondary School, Ashok Vihar, Delhi. He joined an advertising course at Apeejay Institute of Design, Delhi. After studying for five months, he received his first modelling assignment. Thereafter he quit his studies and shifted to Mumbai, where joined acting course run by Kishore Namit Kapoor. He has completed his Bachelor in Multimedia and is a product of Asian School Of Media Studies, Noida.
He got engaged to Shradha Rohira, a television journalist. She is also the "rakhi-sister" of actor Salman Khan. Khan was even involved in the promotion of Samrat's debut film.

Pulkit played the character name Hunny who is a useless guy, a vela, a loser, a total bum. He gets out of home in the morning and comes back only to sleep. He thinks he is born to the wrong parents and feels that he should have been born to the Tatas or the Birlas. He is eager to go to college, to hang out with all the girls and bunk the classes. He is always scheming, trying to earn money and he finally figures out a scheme to make money using his friend Choochaa's unique ability. They sell their scheme to Bholi, which proves to be like a nice big grave they dug for themselves.
