Rajat Tokas is an Indian television actor. He has achieved recognition for playing the lead role in Dharti Ka Veer Yodha - Prithviraj Chauhan. He made his entry in the television world as a junior artist in the serials like Jadui Chirag, Light House for Childeren, Bango, Mera Dost, Rahul, Ek Nazar Ki Tamanna, Hey Hawain, Khoj Khajane Ki, Abhivyakti and Sagar Arts show Sai Baba. Later Rajat played lead roles in the shows Dharti Ka Veer Yodha - Prithviraj Chauhan and Dharam Veer. He was seen as the Mughal emperor Akbar in 'Jodha akbar' and later in Colors popular series Naagin. Currently, he is seen in Ekta Kapoor's historical series Chandranandini.

Biography

Rajat Tokas was born on 19 July 1991 in Munirka, South Delhi to Ramvir and Pramila Tokas. He has studied in the Hope Hall Foundation School, R.K. Puram, Delhi. His father encouraged him to pursue acting as his career and also left his job for his son's career. When he was fifteen, he went along with his dad to Mumbai to give auditions for Sagar Art's 'Sai Baba' where he got selected in the auditions and went to Baroda. He played the role of Tantya (Sai Baba's brother). He has also worked as a junior artist in the movies like Sajiv-Nirjiv, Kathputali, Prerna, Godh Liye Dada Ji, Stumped and W.H.O.
