InterviewWhat was your first reaction when you were approached for the Bigg Boss?
I was amazed. Over the years, I had watched Bigg Boss on TV and thought wow you get to be 'real' on this show. So, when I got the offer I felt it was like a blessing from God. Bigg Boss is a huge platform. I don't have a PR or a manager. They approached me directly after seeing my talent. It makes a huge difference to one's career.
How has Bigg Boss 9 changed you as a person?
It has taught me to survive everything. It also teaches you to live life to the fullest. I have become more patient, understanding and aware of my shortcomings. Throughout my stay, I tried to imbibe some of the good qualities of my co-contestants. That's the lesson from Bigg Boss - you take the good in life and chuck out the negativity.
After coming back home, what did you do?
I spoke to my parents for a long time and ate some homemade food. Then, I played with my dog Gizbo and spent the night chatting with friends on the phone. I also picked up a Dan Brown novel and read some 250-odd pages. My English had gone for a toss inside the house, that why.
