The original story of the Jodha Akbar is a sixteenth-century love story about a political marriage of convenience between a Mughal emperor, Akbar and a Rajput princess, Jodha. The great Emperor Akbar has no Political boundaries for his success. The actual story is based on the marriage of a muslim prince with hindu princess. He is the prince of conqueror and had secured the Hindu Kush. His empire extends from Afghanistan to the Bay of Bengal and from the Himalayas to the Narmada River.
Through a clever blend of politics, frightening and strong force, Akbar has won the allegiance of the Rajputs. Later, he became the emperor of whole India. But little did Akbar know that when he married Jodha, a fiery Rajput princess, in order to further strengthen his relations with the Rajputs, he would in turn be embarking upon a new journey, the journey of true love.

The story begins with Jalaluddin Mohammad successfully waging war to expand the Mughal empire. The emperor Akbar is married to a Hindu princess Jodha, who is the daughter of king Bharmal of Amer. She is not interested to marry a muslium prince Akbar. But time has written another thing for her. The Mughal emperor is soon impressed by Jodha's beauty, brains and bravery. Now, Akbar's biggest challenge lies in winning the love of Jodha, a love hidden deep below resentment and extreme prejudice. The duo think that they can never be in love and hate each other immensely but with the time they come to know that they have a very deep love for each other.
